St. Bonaventure opened the 2014 men's cross country season by finishing third at the Little 3 Invitational on Saturday afternoon. 

Senior Harley Thompson was the Bonnies' top finisher. He placed 11th, crossing the finish line in a time of 16:27.

Senior Nick Masiello was second for the Bonnies, finishing in 13th place overall in a time of 16:40.1. Sophomore Ben Collins turned in a solid race, placing 14th in a time of 16:57.  There were a total of 36 runners who competed between the three schools.

Next Up: The Bonnies return action Saturday, Sept. 6th when they will compete in the UB Stampede hosted by the University at Buffalo.
