The St. Bonaventure men's cross country team finished in 10th place at the Spiked Shoe Invitational Saturday morning. 

The Bonnies were up against stiff competition saturday afternoon. Squaring off against ACC school's Syracuse, and Pittsburgh. As well as Big East Member Georgetown, along with Big 10 host Penn State. 

St. Bonaventures top finisher was Harley Thompson. The senior finished 58th overall with a time of 28:01. 

Crossing the finish line close behind Thompson with a time of 28:27 was junior Joe Ferencik. 

Rounding out the top 3 for St. Bonaventure was Nick Konotopskyj. The junior finished the 5.2 mile course in a time of 29:02

There was a total of 133 competitors from 11 different schools at this years event. 

Next Up: The Bonnies will have a weekend off before traveling to Roberts Wesleyan College to

compete in the Harry Anderson Invitational on Sept. 27th.
