The St. Bonaventure men's cross country team placed eighth at the Harry F. Anderson cross country invitational saturday afternoon hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College. 

There were 25 schools represented at this years event with more than 230 runners competing for the individual, and team titles. Cortland State captured the team title compiling 40 points. They also boasted the top two individual runners. St. Bonaventure compiled 248 points to earn their eighth place finish.

The Bonnies' top finisher was Joe Ferencik, who turned in a 30th place finish, completing the 8k course in a time of 27:09.7

Senior Nick Masiello was second for the Bonnies, finishing in 39th place overall in a time of 27:28.6. Rounding out the top ttree finishers for the Bonnies was freshman Ben Collins who finished 45th overall with a time of 27:35.2

Next Up: The Bonnies will return to action Oct. 18th, when they trravel to Albany, NY., to compete in the University of Albany Invitational.
