The St. Bonaventure men's cross country team finished in last place out of four teams at the UB Stampede Saturday afternoon.
Pittsburgh won the team title with a score of 24. Host Buffalo finished second at 32, Niagara was third with 84 and the Bonnies totaled 105.
The Bonnies' top finisher was Harley Thompson, who turned in a 21st place finish, completing the 8k course in a time of 27:18.1.
Senior Nick Masiello was second for the Bonnies, finishing in 26th place overall in a time of 27:36.0. Rounding out the top ttree finishers for the Bonnies was junior Joe Ferencik who finished 28th overall with a time of 27:53.2.
Next Up: The Bonnies will return to action Sept. 13th when they trravel to State College, Pa., to compete in the Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State.
