GENEVA, OHIO - The St. Bonaventure women's swimming and diving team finished tenth overall at the 2015 Atlantic 10 swimming and diving championships.
St. Bonaventure competed in the last session of the meet Saturday night with the final six events being swum. The Bonnies finished the championship meet in tenth place with 129 total team points.
In the 200 butterfly, sophomore Tanja Kirmse finished off her strong championship meet with her third top eight finish of the championships. Kirmse placed fourth overall in the butterfly event with a final time of 2:02.34.
The Bonnies also placed two swimmers in the consolation heat of the butterfly event. Senior Lauren Caldwell completed her collegiate swimming career placing 14th overall with a time of 2:06.17. Also placing in the top 16 was junior Elizabeth Malone, who placed 10th overall with a time of 2:03.57.
St. Bonaventure closed out the championship meet with the 400 freestyle relay. The team of Maggie Woods, Rachel Bull, Meaghan McCann and Kirmse finished 11th overall with a final time of 3:30.59.
