ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Kaitlin Jennings scored four goals and Morgan Conroy made 12 saves but Robert Morris defeated St. Bonaventure 17-10 on Sunday afternoon at the Marra Athletics Complex.
The Colonials jumped out to a 6-2 lead by the 10:22 mark of the first half, and they led 8-4 at halftime.
Back-to-back goals by Jennings and Gabrielle Bradley to start the second half pulled the Bonnies within 8-6, but Robert Morris scored seven of the next eight goals to go ahead 15-7.
St. Bonaventure is now 1-7 on the year. Robert Morris improved to 6-2 with its second straight road win.
Jennings led the Bonnies with four goals – her second four-goal game in a row. Mary Maestri scored a pair of goals for the Bonnies while Bradey, LeighAnn Stauffer, Scarlett Jaworski and Mikayla Place all tallied one goal.
Conroy, who faced 39 shots on the day, recorded double-digit saves for the seventh time this season.
The Bonnies' next game will be their Atlantic 10 Conference season-opener on Friday, March 27, at Richmond.
