DAVIDSON, N.C. – St. Bonaventure's season ended with a 15-7 loss to Davidson on Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats scored the first four goals of the game to grab control. Kaitlin Jennings and Scarlett Jaworski scored on either side of two more Davidson goals to make it a 6-2 game. It was an 8-3 Wildcats lead at halftime.
In the second half, Davidson scored three of the first four goals to open an 11-4 lead and the Bonnies could not come any closer than five goals after that.
Davidson out-shot St. Bonaventure 35-19 and had a 15-9 advantage in draw controls.
Playing in her final collegiate game, Jennings finished with one goal, one assist and four ground balls. The Bonnies' only other senior, defender Colleen Guilfoyle, had two ground balls.
Jaworski and Mary Maestri led St. Bonaventure with two goals each. Rachel Perla, LeighAnn Stauffer, and Mikayla Place each scored once.
Freshman goalie Morgan Conroy, who entered the weekend leading NCAA Division I in saves per game at 11.5, made eight saves.
St. Bonaventure completed the season 2-15 overall and 1-7 the Atlantic 10. Davidson is 6-10 overall and 3-5 in the A-10.
