The two teams went into the half with a 0-0 tie, as they combined for just six total shots in the half.

Cornell scored the lone goal of the game early in the second half as Jessica Ritchie broke the tie at the 52:07 mark. St. Bonaventure cleared up the right side, but Charlotte Tate stepped in front to intercept about 10 yards in front of midfield and made a run down the flank. Her cross bounced through the box, and Ritchie finished with a shot from inside the box. Shot tipped off a defender and just inside the post for the lone goal of the match.
