Complete Freshman Top 100

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure University's Kosi Nwafornso has been named one of the nation's top 100 men's soccer freshmen by Top Drawer Soccer.

Nwafornso was slotted No. 81 by the publication and is one of four Atlantic 10 freshmen to be named. Other A-10 freshmen were: Janos Loebe of Fordham (No. 26), Dominik Richter of Rhode Island (No. 68) and Anthony Brown of Saint Louis (No. 79).

The freshman forward appeared in 18 matches and started 15, scoring a team-high four goals. Three of his goals came in Atlantic 10 play. Nwafornso tallied a pair of scores to lift the Bonnies to an upset 2-1 win on the road at George Washington in October, earning Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors for his performance. He also found the net vs. UMass and also in non-conference play vs. Detroit.

Nwafornso continued to improve as the season went on, scoring three times in the season's final five matches. He was tabbed to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team at the conclusion of the season.
