AMHERST, Mass. – The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team fell at No. 19 UMass Friday afternoon, 23-2, following a stifling performance from the host Minutewomen at Garber Field.

Mikayla Place and Taylor Fallon each scored in the loss for St. Bonaventure (3-10, 1-4 Atlantic 10)

For the nationally-ranked Minutewomen (12-1, 5-0), it is the 41st consecutive Atlantic 10 triumph.

Hannah Burnett scored six times for UMass to lead all players.

For St. Bonaventure, Morgan Conroy (10 saves) and Kerrigan Cummins (eight) combined to turn away 18 shots on goal.

The Bonnies will return to action Sunday at Saint Joseph's beginning at 1 p.m.
