BALTIMORE, MD – The St. Bonaventure University softball team suffered a 10-0 defeat at Morgan State Sunday to conclude play in Baltimore this weekend.

McKenna Holtz, Alexandra Deal and Alexandra Piergustavo all had a hit each for the Bonnies.

The Bears scored five runs in the bottom of the second, taking command of the game. Morgan State added five more runs in the fourth to secure the victory.

Josie Borysevicz was charged with the loss in the circle for the Bonnies (3-9). Rylee Hehir entered in relief in the third inning, tossing two innings, allowing one earned run and striking out three. Morgan State improves to 7-10 on the season.

St. Bonaventure returns to the diamond Friday, March 16 in Nashville, TN against Tennessee State as part of the Tennessee State/Belmont Invitational.
