Women's Lacrosse Concludes Non-Conference Slate at Siena Wednesday

STORYLINE
The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team travels to Loudonville, N.Y. to face off against the Siena Saints this Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. The Bonnies look to get their first win of the 2018 season in their final non-conference game of the year.

LAST MEETING
The Bonnies and Saints squared off last season at the Marra Athletic Complex in their first home game of the year, which saw the Bonnies win with a score of 18-13. The Bonnies never trailed in that game, with two players netting four goals.

SCOUTING SIENA
The Saints enter the matchup with a 3-3 record, winning their last contest against Lafayette 15-11. Siena is lead by sophomore Alexis Deaken. The former MAAC Rookie of the Year already has 25 goals tallied on the year, with an additional 7 assists. Junior goalkeeper Sammy Horton currently averaged 13 saves per game and had nine saves in the matchup against the Bonnies last season.

LEADING THE WAY
Junior Rylee Arnold currently leads the Bonnies with 14 goals on the season, while also tallying 34 shots on goal. Classmate Kathryn Yoder currently sits tied for first in the Atlantic 10 with 25 ground balls on the year, as well as tied for first in caused turnovers with 18. Defensively, senior goalkeeper Morgan Conroy has tallied 54 saves on the year, while leading the team in saves percentage (50.5%).

NEXT UP
The Bonnies travel to Pittsburgh, Pa. to begin Atlantic 10 play against Duquesne. The matchup is slated for Thursday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m.
