STORYLINE
St. Bonaventure will wrap up the 2018 season when it hosts Atlantic 10 front runner Richmond Saturday afternoon. Richmond currently sits in first place in the A-10 standings just ahead of Umass prior to next weeks championship.
Scouting the Spiders
Richmond comes into Saturday's game having one 8 of their last 9 games, the only was a 17-13 loss to Umass.
The Bonnies defense will be tested as the Spiders boast one of the conference's most powerful offenses. Richmond ranks second in the conference scoring 226 goals this season which translates to 14.13 per game. The one two punch of Katie Sciandra and Kim Egizi has been one not many teams have been able to stop. Sciandra leads the conference in goals with 58 and Egizi ranks second with 55 goals.
Anchoring the defense is Megan Gianforte who ranks third in the conference allowing 125 goals this season. She boasts a .512 save percentage turning away 131 shots.
Senior Sendoff
St. Bonaventure will honor its five seniors who will be playing their final game in the Brown and White Saturday.
Kristine Wallace:Wallace a native of Canandaigua, N.Y. has been a four member of the lacrosse program and has played in 53 games for the Brown and White. This season Kristine has started in all 16 games scoring 5 goals and tallied 2 assists both of which are career highs. As a sophomore, she was honored on the Atlantic 10 Commissioners Honor Roll for her work in the classroom. Kristine is the daughter of Kathy and Cal Wallace she will graduate in a few weeks with a degree in Business Management.
Gabrielle Bradley:Bradley is a native of Smith Point, N.Y. and has played 3 seasons for the Brown and White and today she will play in her 50th career game. This season she has started and played in all 16 games scoring 9 goals and dishing out a team leading 24 assists. Bradley has scored a goal in over half of the teams games this season and also held a streak of 7 straight games in which she scored a goal. She is the Daughter of Susan and Tim Bradley and will graduate with a degree in Political Science.
Emily Foster:Foster is a native of Penfield, N.Y. has been a four year member of the St. Bonaventure lacrosse program. She will play in her 59thcareer game this afternoon having started 38 of those. This season she has manned the mid-field grabbing 6 ground balls and 1 draw control. In a game vs. George Mason she grabbed one ground ball and caused 2 turnovers. Emily is the daughter of Karen and Dan Foster and will graduate with a degree in Elementary/Special Education
Morgan Conroy:Conroy is a native of Syracuse, N.Y. and has been an important piece of the program over her career. As a freshman she was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team after she started 15 games and recorded 191 saves. As a junior, she started all 17 games leading the Atlantic 10 in saves and ranking 4thNCAA with 210 saves. She also ranked 2ndin the NCAA making 12.35 saves per game. This season she has started 13 games making 151 saves posting a career high save percentage of 49.5. Morgan is the daughter of Donn and Dan Conroy and will graduate with a degree in Strategic Communications.
Kerrigan Cummins:Cummins is a native of Oswego, N.Y. and has been a 4 year member of the Lacrosse team. As a sophomore Cummins started all 17 games and made 93 saves she made a season high 13 saves to preserve a win over George Washington. Following her sophomore year she was named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for her work on the field and in the classroom. This season Cummins has appeared in 4 games turning away 7 shots. Kerrigan is the daughter of Kathleen and Duane Cummins and will graduate with a degree in Sports Studies.
