ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Seniors Rachel Kimmel and Zanre Oberholzer, along with freshmen Silvana Cabrera, Halle Myers, and junior transfer Amanda Baird were able to propel St. Bonaventure women's swimming team to a victory against Binghamton Saturday afternoon at the Reilly Center Pool.
 
Kimmel and Oberholzer promptly assisted the Bonnies to this victory after being honored in the Senior Day ceremony before the meet. Marissa Carrig, Emerson Graham, Ivana Janssen, and Claire Schaef were also honored.
 
The day began with the 200-medley relay team of Oberholzer, Kimmel, Cabrera, and freshman Halle Myers picking up a win with a time of 1:48.14.
 
In the 100-breaststroke, Kimmel swam a time of 1:05.27 to earn another Bonnies victory, and she touched the wall in a time of 2:21.30 in the 200-breaststroke for another win. Kimmel ended her afternoon with a victory in the 200-IM with a time of 2:10.65, giving her three triumphs on the day.
 
Oberholzer picked up victories in the 100-backstroke (57.99) and the 200-backstroke (2:09.33).
 
Cabrera earned a pair of victories in the 200-butterfly (2:11.21) and the 100-butterfly (59.23).
 
On the diving board, Baird was victorious in the 1-meter and 3-meter dive with scores of 244.58 and 261.98 as part of her first home meet since joining the program for the spring semester.
 
In the 100-freestyle, Halle Myers won by touching the wall in a time of 53.73.
 
To end the meet, the team of Cabrera, Myers, Amy O'Rourke, and Ellie Kraus earned victory in the 400-freestyle relay with a time of 3:38.72.
 
The Bonnies are back in the Reilly Center Pool on Thursday, Jan. 27 to take on Gannon. The meet is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
