The St. Bonaventure University baseball team will travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to take on Lehigh in a four-game series beginning on Friday, March 18. The series will consist of a single game on Friday, doubleheader on Saturday, and end with a single game on Sunday. Friday's game will be streamed live on ESPN+ while live stats will be available for all four games via the Lehigh website.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Bonnies last scheduled games against Mount St. Mary's and UMBC were canceled due to inclement weather in the forecast last weekend, leaving the Bonnies idle for nearly two weeks.
- The last time they played, St. Bonaventure dropped a three-game series at Alabama State (March 4-5).
- In the second game of the series Branden Myers, Brendyn Stillman (one RBI), and Matthew Williams (two RBIs) each had three hits for the Bonnies.
- Redshirt sophomore Pierce Hendershot added two hits and two RBIs in game two.
- Hendershot (one RBI), Ben Berger, and Jagger Nucci (one RBI) each had two hits in the third game of the series.
- In game three, Kyle Caringi threw five solid innings, giving up only two earned runs and striking out six batters.
TEAM LEADERS
- Brendyn Stillman (.300 avg/nine hits/four RBIs) and Pierce Hendershot (.276 avg/eight hits/six RBIs) lead the team at the dish for the Bonnies.
- Stillman also has hit the lone home run on the season for St. Bonaventure.
- On the bump the team is led by Rushil Bhat (four appearances/1.42 ERA/four strikeouts), Tripp Breen (6.0 IP/eight strikeouts), and Gabe Watts (7.0 IP/nine strikeouts).
- Redshirt freshman Jagger Nucci (three hits in six plate appearances/four strikeouts in two innings pitched) and freshman Luke Roggenburk (.500 average/6.2 IP/two strikeouts) have contributed both at the plate and on the mound at the start of their seasons.
ABOUT LEHIGH
- Lehigh has begun the season 8-6 overall and winners of two in a row, winning at Fairleigh Dickinson Tuesday before taking their home-opener Wednesday vs. Saint Peter's. The Hawks have played one Atlantic 10 opponent, dropping two of three to Davidson to begin their season.Â
- At the plate the team is led by Casey Rother (.407 avg/22 hits/6 doubles/11 RBIs), Jake Whitlinger (.358 avg/19 hits/six RBIs), Riley Davis (.319 avg/eight RBIs), and Rafe Perich (.300 avg/eight RBIs).
- On the mound Luke Rettig (four games started/0.43 ERA/26 strikeouts) and Ryan Deom (five appearances/1.59 ERA/one earned run) are the team leaders so far this season.
- Rettig nabbed 2022 Preseason All-Patriot League Team honors as a pitcher, while Rother was selected as one of three outfielders in the conference.
- The Hawks are projected to finish tied for third in the conference with Lafayette (32 points), according to the 2022 Patriot League Preseason Poll.

- The Bonnies will be on the road once again to take on Valparaiso in a three-game series with a doubleheader beginning on Saturday, March 26 at noon.
