ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Bonnies Baseball head coach Jason Rathbun has announced additions to his staff for the 2026-27 academic year as Noah Baughman and Jordan Goble join the Bonnies bench.

Baughman will serve as the program's new hitting coach.

A Tennessee native, he began his coaching career in 2021 as a student assistant on Jerry Meyer's Middle Tennessee State staff. During his time in Murfreesboro, he was developed as a hitting coach by standout offensive coach Kevin Nichols.

Following his time at Middle Tennessee, Baughman continued his coaching career at Bryan College, where he served as a graduate assistant. He then moved to the University of West Alabama, where he worked as a graduate assistant, coached third base and assisted with the Tigers' hitters. Baughman was part of Eric DuBose's program that won a conference tournament championship and advanced to an NCAA Regional.

In 2026, Baughman served as the hitting coach at Gadsden State Community College under head coach Blake Lewis. He helped send six hitters to four-year programs and coached a Second Team All-Conference selection. The Cardinals hit .325 as a team, scored 340 runs, posted a .423 on-base and .439 slugging percentage while ranking as the hardest team to strike out in the state.

Baughman has also coached in the Prospect League and NECBL and served as the inaugural head coach of the Columbia Jumpin Jacks in the Volunteer State League.

He earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from Middle Tennessee State University in 2023 and his master's degree in Sports Management from the University of West Alabama in 2025.

Goble graduated from SUNY Oswego where he played for head coach Scott Landers. Coach Landers has also led the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod League to the championship series four out of the last five years.

Over Goble's two years at Oswego, he made 20 appearances on the mound. Before Oswego, Goble played at Herkimer County Community College where he was recruited by Coach Razz. Goble went to two World Series while at Herkimer. Goble graduated from Oneonta High School where he played for Joe Hughes.
