The St. Bonaventure University baseball team will travel to Buffalo to take on Canisius in a single game on Tuesday, beginning at 3:00 p.m. This weekend the Bonnies will host Richmond for a three-game series kicking off on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday's game will be aired on ESPN3, while Friday's game will be streamed on ESPN+.

ROGGENBURK ROLLIN'
- Freshman Luke Roggenburk has made back to back strong starts on the mound for the Bonnies.
- Against one of the top offenses in the league in Davidson last week he threw 6.1 innings while allowing just two runs on two hits to and striking out a career-high six batters.
- This past Friday at Saint Louis, the first-year collegiate pitcher was impressive once again, working six innings and striking out three. All three runs charged against him in the game were unearned.

LEADER OF THE PLATE
- Junior catcher Jackson DeJohn is the team leader hitting and behind the plate this season.
- This past Saturday against Saint Louis he recorded a combined five hits in the doubleheader, including a double in the second game.
- At the plate he has hit .310 with 27 hits, seven doubles, and eight RBIs.
- The third-year backstop has been a workhorse for the Bonnies, starting 26 games with a fielding percentage of .961.

ABOUT CANISIUS
- The Golden Griffins currently hold an overall record of 17-18 with a conference record of 8-4.
- This past Saturday they fell to Ohio in both game of a doubleheader.
- Max Grant (.400/58 hits/seven homeruns), Mike DeStefano (.349/51 hits/32 RBIs Mike Steffan (.342/six homeruns/40 RBIs) are the team leaders at the plate.
- On the mound Matt Duffy (62.2 IP/3.73 ERA/80 strikeouts), Chris Pouliot (40.2 IP/6-2 record/44 strikeouts), and Peyton Consigli (12 appearances/2.02 ERA/34 strikeouts) have been successful so far this season.
- Canisius is projected to finish third in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) according to 2022 MAAC Baseball Preseason Coaches' Poll
- In their last matchup this season (4/12) the Bonnies fell, 11-1.

- On the season the Spiders are 18-18 overall with a 3-9 conference record.
- At George Washington this past weekend they dropped two of three games with their only win coming on Saturday.
- At the plate the team is led by Dominic Toso (.414/six homeruns/45 RBIs), Alden Mathes (.344/10 doubles/35 RBIs), and Christian Beal (.342/52 hits/21 RBIs).
- Alden Mathes (37.1 IP/3.62 ERA/52 strikeouts), Brock Weirather (55.0 IP/4-3 record/42 strikeouts), and Jeremy Neff (49.1 IP/11 starts/52 strikeouts) are the leaders on the hill.
- The 2022 A-10 Baseball Preseason Poll tabbed Richmond to finish eighth in the conference.
