VESTAL, N.Y.—When the dust settled on Saturday the St. Bonaventure women's swim and dive squad lost by just a single point to Binghamton in a dual meet between the Bonnies and Bearcats.
 
The Brown and White posted 120.5 points in the road meet, while Binghamton tallied 121.5.
 
Ellie Kraus provided the first victory of the day for Bona's in the 200-yard freestyle. Kraus touched the wall in 1:56.10 as she cruised to a more than three second win.
 
Teammates Halle Myers (24.05) and Amy O'Rourke (24.80) finished first and second respectively in the 50-freestyle, while Silvana Cabrera was victorious in the 200-IM for the third Bonnie victory in just as many events. Cabrera posted a time of 2:10.71.
 
Cabrera tacked on another victory in the 100-yard butterfly with O'Rourke claiming second. The duo finishing with times of 57.66 and 59.21 for the Bonnies.
 
The 100-freestyle was dominated by the visiting Brown and White as well; Kraus, Myers and Kathryn Beyer took the top three spots all finishing within two seconds of each other. Kraus' winning time clocked in at 52.37.  
 
Allison Lenda (58.61) picked up a win for Bonaventure in the 100-yard backstroke, teammate Eylul Alli claimed second place in the event with a time of 59.08.
 
The final event of the afternoon saw the Bona's 200-freestyle relay team claim victory. Kraus, Beyer and O'Rourke were joined by Rylie Foley, teaming up for a winning time of 136.99.
 
In diving action Mary Wilson finished runner-up in the three-meter dive, while Kylie McKee earned a second place finish in the one-meter dive.
 
The Bonnies return to their home pool on Saturday when they welcome the Gannon Golden Knights to Reilly Center. Bona's will honor their four seniors in the final dual meet of the season. Diving is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., while swimming will begin at approximately 1:15 p.m. following the Senior Day ceremony.
