Over fall break, the men's and women's swimming and diving teams spent time volunteering at the Warming House. The Warming House was established in 1974and is one of the oldest student-run soup kitchens in the nation. Open six days a week year-round, the Warming House serves over 10,000 Olean-area residents annually. The Warming House also offers services that include a classroom for developmental education and related workshops.

Some members of each team also spent time at the Greater Olean Chamber of Commerce checking Christmas decorations for the annual Santa Claus Lane corridor. Athletes checked that each bulb worked, ensuring a magical experience at the event.
