ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — Junior Silvana Cabrera set a new pool record in the 100-butterfly as the St. Bonaventure women's swimming and diving team rolled past Youngstown State on Saturday. Nine first place-finishes helped the Bonnies to a 154-87 win over the Penguins. 
 
Cabrera, a native of Lima, Peru, posted a time of 55.73 in the 100-butterfly to set a new RC Pool top mark. Last year, she swam a time of 54.58 in the event which was good for third overall in program history. The junior also won the 200-IM and helped the 200-medley relay team to a victory. 
 
Kathryn Beyer posted two wins on the day as well. She touched the wall first in the 200-freestyle with a time of 1:55.08 and then did it again in the 500-freestyle, posting a time of 5:16.70.
 
Beyer was also a member of the winning 200-freestyle relay (1:36.68) with Ellie Kraus, Amy O'Rourke, and Caitlyn Clements. 
 
Halle Myers gave the Bonnies another win as she was victorious in the 50-freestyle, touching the wall with a time of 23.51. She also joined Cabrera on the winning 200-medley relay team, swimming the final leg of the race. The Erie, Pa. native participated in the 100-butterfly (56.62) as well. 
 
Other individual victories came from Kraus in the 100-freestyle (51.43) and Anna Bojana Forjan in the 100-backstroke. A time of 57.57 for Bojana Forjan gave the freshman the first win of her career. 

The Bonnies are back in action Friday at Niagara.
