ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — Four members of the St. Bonaventure women's soccer team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, officials announced Tuesday. Senior McKenna Robinson, juniors Chiara Gottinger and Sydney Hayward, and sophomore Hannah Walker all earned the honor for their efforts on the field and in the classroom. 
 
Robinson, a health sciences major, has maintained a 3.97 GPA in her fourth year at St. Bonaventure. Gottinger, who is majoring in sports management, has achieved a 3.85 GPA, while Hayward is pursuing a degree in adolescent education and currently holds a 3.86 GPA. Walker, who is studying physical education, has earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
A Connoquenessing, Pa. native, Robinson made nine starts in 17 appearances during her senior season. She tallied a goal and an assist during the 2023 season including the game-winner at Davidson. Across four seasons, she has appeared in 61 games including 42 starts with 13 points.
 
In her third season with the program, Gottinger tallied an Atlantic 10-leading 83 saves in 15 games averaging 5.33 saves per game. She also registered three shutouts in A-10 play and posted a .798 save percentage and a 1.45 goals against average. She currently stands fifth in school history with 365 career saves while her 13 total shutouts are tied for third. 
 
The Pirching am Traubenberg, Austria native was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team on Nov. 2.
 
Hayward was an essential part of the Bonnies defense, playing full-time in all 17 games. She posted two goals during the season including her first collegiate goal and game-winner against Niagara. 
 
Walker played in all 17 games and made 16 starts for the Bonnies in her sophomore year. She tallied two assists in 1,492 minutes of play and helped the team to four shutouts as a member of the back line. 
 
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Honorees are nominated by and voted on by sports information directors nationwide.
