The St. Bonaventure University women's lacrosse team will host Akron on Saturday, Feb. 25. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. and is a part of a lacrosse doubleheader with the men's team playing VMI at noon. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+.

FRESHMAN SUCCESS
- Notaro has had a strong start to her collegiate career, leading the team offensively through the team's first three games.
- Her performance last week against the Sun Devils earned her Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors.
- The Lancaster, N.Y. native has recorded a team-high eight goals on 10 shots, converting on an impressive 80 percent of her attempts.
ABOUT AKRON
- The Zips have begun the season 1-1, falling in a four-overtime thriller against Delaware State, 13-12, in their last contest.
- This season Alexis Kiefer (nine goals), Noelle Boyd (six goals), and Kaija Kunttu (five goals) lead the team in the scoring column.
- In net, Hannah Sanders (eight saves) and Kylan Rhude (five saves) have split time this season.
- Akron was selected to finish fifth (18 points) in the 2023 Mid-American Conference preseason poll.
