The GoBonnies.com Athletes of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending April 11 are softball junior
Brooke Bobbey and baseball senior

Bobbey slashed .471/.500/.765 over five games for the Bonnies, going 8-for-17 at the plate to go along with four runs, four RBIs, two triples and a double.

The junior centerfielder collected her first triple of the week in game two of Friday's doubleheader against George Mason and came around to score.

In the series finale against the Patriots, Bobbey drove in two runs with her second triple of the series.
Â
Against Canisius Tuesday, Bobbey was 5-for-8 in the doubleheader.

In game one, she went 2-for-4 an RBI double and run scored. Bobbey reached bases safely three times while driving in a run and scoring in the game two tie.

Over his last five games, Putney has led the team with a .400 batting average, recording eight hits, five RBIs, two doubles, and a home run.

Last week, Putney went 3-for-4 day at the dish against Binghamton.

The senior third basemen keyed the Bonnies victory against Saint Louis on Saturday, tallying three hits with two doubles and a run batted in.

Putney notched three hits, including an RBI single in a doubleheader against Little Three rival Canisius on Tuesday afternoon.
Â
For the season, Putney has a team-high 31 hits and nine doubles and is second on the team in batting average (.320) and runs batted in (14).

The Bonnies continue their nine-game homestand this weekend against Rhode Island in a three-game series beginning on Friday, April 14.
