NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – St. Bonaventure University women's tennis sophomore Alexandra Jansson has been selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, conference officials announced.

A native of Mariestad, Sweden, Jansson carries a 4.0 cumulative GPA while studying biology.

Jansson captured 12 singles wins at the top flight for the Bonnies while adding 11 victories in doubles. She earned A-10 Player of the Week accolades Jan. 24 after a 2-0 week in singles to kick off the spring season.

Over the past two seasons, Jansson has scored 25 wins in singles action and claimed 15 doubles matches.

Last season, Jansson earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team accolades.
