ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure golf head coach Ryan Swanson has announced the signing of Braddock Damore to a National Letter of Intent to join the program this fall.

Damore joins the Bonnies from Warren, Pa., where he is a standout at Warren Area High.

"Braddock comes to us with a ton of valuable tournament experience. He is everything a coach wants in a person and a player," Swanson said. "He is a great fit for our program and we look forward to him joining us in August."

During his high school career, he has produced a scoring average of 71.3 and earned District 10 champion honors, also helping his team to the District 10 title. He will graduate with the lowest scoring average in program history.

A three-time All-District and All-Region First Team selection, he earned full exemption on the AJGA Tour and placed third in the Pennsylvania State Junior Amateur as well as finished second in the Findlay Preview AJGA event. This past fall, he was honored as the Region 6 Player of the Year. He fired an opening round 70 at the 2023 PIAA state championships at Penn State's Blue Course before finishing 32nd overall.

He shot a 36-hole 147 to win districts by three strokes this fall. His high school team became Warren's first squad in program history to win the district championship as well.

Damore plans to major in business at St. Bonaventure.

He becomes the second Bonnies Golf NLI signing for 2024, joining New York State champion Dante Bertoni who will add to a strong returning core for the program next fall.
