QUOTES FROM HEAD COACH MIKE SMIECHOWSKI
"I'm pleased with the way the women swam today. Cornell is a very talented team, but we are demonstrating we can hang with them a lot better than two years ago, or even last year."
Â
"We picked up some wins, and Halle broke a pool record, a record which she set two years ago in a tech suit, today in just a regular dual meet suit."
Â
"There is a lot to build on, some things we identified that we can work on involving preparation at meets that we will have the opportunity to test again for mid-season champs."
Â
"I am excited to see how we can continue to build off this momentum at the Magnus Invite and get a gauge of where we are at with a little bit of rest, which we haven't had yet."
Â
QUOTES FROM DIVING COACH ALEJANDRA FUENTES
"I'm so proud of Sanayia's resilience. She showed today that the work we've done has impacted her diving in a great way."
