HAMPTON, Va. — St. Bonaventure freshman
Anna Bojana Forjan set her second individual Bona's program record and second as a part of a relay team at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship meet on the final night of competition in Virginia.
Bojana Forjan's time of 1:57.27, good for fourth-place in Saturday's championship race, surpasses the previous record of 1:58.39 set by Devon McFadden in 2018. The freshman also surpassed McFadden in the program record books for the top mark in the 100-backstroke one night earlier.
The 400-free relay team of Bojana Forjan,
Ellie Kraus,
Halle Myers, and
Nele Vetter also set a new Bona's top time at 3:20.83. The previous record by Wardner, Godlewski, Kutsko and McFadden stood since 2018 at 3:22.85.
Senior
Silvana Cabrera finished fourth in the 200-butterfly, touching the wall in 2:00.11.
The team finished with 234 points to earn an eighth-place finish. George Washinton took first for the third year in a row. The University of Richmond garnered a second-place team finish followed by Fordham. Duquesne and George Mason rounded out the top five.
