Myers, Cabrera Selected To CSC Academic All-District Team

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — St. Bonaventure women's swimmers Halle Myers and Silvana Cabrera have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for their efforts in the classroom and in the pool this year.
 
Myers has recorded a 3.811 cumulative GPA as she studies finance. The junior earned a bronze medal at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship meet in the 50-freestyle, finishing in 22.82 seconds. 
 
Throughout her third year with the program, the Erie, Pa. native recorded 15 top-three finishes. She was also a member of the 400-freestyle relay team that set a new Bona top mark this year. 
 
She helped the 400-freestyle relay to a fourth-place finish at A-10 Championships as well. 
 
Redshirt senior Cabrera has earned a cumulative 3.634 GPA while she works toward her degree in environmental science. 
 
Cabrera has been a major contributor to the team, tallying 16 top-three finishes this season. 
 
She recorded two top-five performances at the A-10 Championship meet in the 200-butterfly and the 100-butterfly. 
 
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
