ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team welcomes 14 newcomers to the roster this fall in preparation for the 2026 season.
This year's recruiting class includes one junior transfer and 13 freshmen. The incoming class represents six different U.S. states, as the Bonnies have recruited talent from a wide geographic range.
"This year, we're excited to welcome 14 newcomers to the program who have quickly made their presence felt on and off the field," said Bona head coach
LeighAnn Stauffer. "They've brought great energy, competitiveness and a team-first mindset that has allowed them to adjust seamlessly and play well together. Their chemistry continues to grow each day, and they've already added tremendous depth and excitement to our roster. We can't wait to see the impact this group will make throughout the season."
Lilliana Bertrando | D | 5'5" | West Chester, Pa. | Henderson
Bertrando was named to the Chesmont All-Area First Team and the PASLA All-Academic Team at the high school level. She also earned Henderson's Outstanding Female Athlete Award.
Riley Czapor | A | 5'8" | Collegeville, Pa. | Spring Ford
As a team captain at Spring Ford, Czapor was named a First Team All-Conference selection. She scored a total of 150 points in high school competition.
Piper Emmick | D | 5'5" | Corning, N.Y. | Corning Painted Post
Named the Southern Tier Sports Defensive Player of the Year, Emmick also earned First Team All-Division honors as a cornerstone on defense for Corning Painted Post.
Grace Fritz | D | 5'2" | Canandaigua, N.Y. | Canandaigua
Fritz, a major piece of Canandaigua's midfield and defense in her four years, helped the Western New York Regional Team secure a championship this past year.
Kierstin Hillis | A | 5'5" | Cincinnati, Ohio | Cincinnati Hillis Christian / High Point
In her freshman and sophomore seasons at High Point, Hillis appeared in 12 total games and averaged exactly one point per game. The Big South transfer recorded 212 goals and 75 assists at Cincinnati Hillis Christian, earning First Team All-Conference honors in her sophomore and junior seasons. She was named an Ohio Region 8 First Team selection as a senior and was an Under Armour All-American twice.
Meredith Kearns | G | 5'9" | Rockville, Md. | Richard Montgomery
Kearns recorded 100-plus saves in both her junior and senior seasons at Richard Montgomery, earning Second Team All-County honors in both seasons alongside a First Team All-Division designation as a junior. She played for Maryland Metro Team A in last year's USA Lacrosse National Tournament, and her efforts in goal at the high school level positioned her for three separate Maryland Brick Wall Award selections.
Riley Milligan | A | 5'2" | Weddington, N.C. | Charlotte Latin
Milligan led Charlotte Latin with 63 goals in her senior season, adding 21 assists, 14 draw controls, and 27 groundballs. She also paced the team with 65 goals as a sophomore, assisting an additional 38 scores. Her performance earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State honors in both her sophomore and senior seasons.
Brooke Owens | D | 5'4" | Syracuse, N.Y. | West Genesee
As a four-year varsity starter and a two-year team captain for West Genesee, Owens totaled 67 caused turnovers and 53 groundballs. She was selected to the All-Conference team four times, twice as a member of the First Team and twice on Second Team. A 2024 NYSSWA All-State selection, she collected two Second Team All-CNY designations and was named to the NYSPHAA All-Tournament Team, also in 2024.
Aleah Petre | M | 5'8" | Penfield, N.Y. | Penfield
A key piece to Penfield's 2025 state championship, Petre also earned three separate Delaware Capital Cup Player of the Game designations while a part of the Aces Elite club team.
Evie Raithel | D | 5'2" | Frederick, Md. | Urbana
Raithel, who helped Urbana reach two state championship games, recorded 65 total caused turnovers and added two goals and five assists at the high school level. She was named a Second Team All-County selection three times.
Alexis Scaramuzzino | A | 5'1" | Fayetville, N.Y. | Jamesville DeWitt
Scaramuzzino tallied 37 goals and 65 assists at Jamesville DeWitt, positioning her for Second Team All-League honors as a senior. As a sophomore and junior, she was named an All-League honorable mention, showing steady improvement in her four years.
Hana Seeto | A | 5'1" | South Riding, Va. | Freedom South Riding
Seeto collected First Team All-District, Second Team All-State and First Team All-Region honors as a senior, also collecting First Team All District and Second Team All-Region designations as a sophomore. She recorded 115 points across her high school career.
Arianna West | M | 5'2" | Dixhills, N.Y. | Half Hollow Hills West
As a senior, West earned All-County honors and was named Half Hollow Hills West's MVP, also being named an All-Division selection one year prior as a junior.
Gracie Williams | A | 5'8" | Cattaraugus, N.Y. | Silver Creek
At Silver Creek, Williams was named a First Team All-Western New York selection as well as an All-Conference honoree in her sophomore and junior seasons. She also saw action in the 2024 U20 Women's World Championship held in Hong Kong.
