The St. Bonaventure women's soccer team will host its final home game of the year on Thursday, welcoming Duquesne under the lights. The team will then travel to Richmond on Sunday to close out the season.

The Bonnies were unable to crawl back from a 1-0 deficit at halftime last Sunday, falling to Dayton on the road.

Daniela De Souza has come alive in the scoring column in the past few weeks, notching goals at Fordham and against Saint Joseph's. They were her second and third goals of the season, and she currently sits second on the team with nine points (3G-3A) behind only fellow graduate student
Giovanna Coghetto's12 points (5G-2A).

Melissa Sherwood has utilized a changing strategy in net, primarily switching between sophomore
Adelaide Paredes and junior
Juliana Castellano in recent matches. Castellano earned starts against Fordham and Dayton, making nine total saves and being replaced at halftime in both contests by Paredes, who also started against George Washington and Saint Joseph's. She made 22 total saves in those appearances.

ABOUT DUQUESNE
- The Dukes are led by Jessica Giegucz in her first season with the program. Prior to this season, she spent 10 years as the head coach at Division II Slippery Rock where she amassed a record of 104-48-24.
- Senior forward Maya Matesa paces Duquesne with 32 points coming from 14 goals and four assists. She is followed by fellow senior forward Brianna Moore with seven goals and two assists for 16 points. The team boasts 13 different point scorers so far this season.
- The Dukes have had a constant contributor in goal this season in junior Ali Hughes. She has played full time in each of the team's matches, making 58 saves.

ABOUT RICHMOND
- Head coach Adam Denton leads the Spiders in his third season with the team, bringing six years of previous A-10 experience from Davidson.
- Freshman forward Emma Newman paces Richmond with 12 points (5G-2A), doing the majority of the team's damage on the offensive end. She is followed by eight players with five or fewer points on the year.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Veronica Rrapi has been the primary force in net for the Spiders, starting in every conference game this season and making 77 saves with an average of 0.93 goals allowed per game.

SERIES HISTORY
Duquesne owns the all-time series lead over Bona with a record of 17-10. Last season, the Dukes won 2-0 at the Marra Athletics Complex. Opposite Richmond, SBU has an all-time record of 7-12-2. The last meeting between the two programs ended as a 1-1 tie as the Spiders visited Western New York.
