WEST POINT, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team kicked off its fall season at the Army Shootout last weekend.

Davis Matney paced the Bonnies with a pair of singles victories. Matney scored a straight set win over Milan Karorovic from Sacred Heart, 6-4, 6-2. He followed that up with a three-set win against Lehigh's Alex Van Lumich, 6-3, 4-6, 10-8.

Connor Turner, Alex Kim and Dilraj Singh Dhillon also picked up a singles win each for the Brown and White.

Turner defeated Benedict Horn-Bourque, 6-3, 6-4. Kim bested Lehigh's Victor Imanishi in straight set, 6-3, 6-0, while Dhillon took down Shiv Sastry, 7-6, 6-1.

The Bonnies are back in action Thursday, Oct. 9 at the ITA Regionals.
