ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure head women's lacrosse coach
LeighAnn Stauffer has announced eight signees to the 2026 recruiting class. Ryley Black, Mia DeRosa, Revlie Genier, Angela Gerstner, Molly Meyer, Talia Olshanky, Ava Rouse, and Morgan Wilson will join the program next fall.

"We're excited to officially welcome this talented group of student-athletes to our St. Bonaventure family," Stauffer said. "Each of them brings a competitive edge, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for the game that align perfectly with the values of our program. This class will add depth, athleticism, and leadership as we continue building momentum within the Atlantic 10."

Ryley Black | Severn, Ontario | Midfield
Ryley Black joins the Bonnies out of The Hill Academy where she was a standout in the midfield. A three-time All-Academic selection, Black will bring championship-level experience as a 2022 national title winner in U15 box lacrosse with Team Ontario. She also competed in volleyball, hockey and cross country in high school, and her mother played collegiate volleyball at Durham College and Western University.
"I chose St. Bonaventure because of the team-based environment and the small campus. Every time I stepped on campus, it felt like a family to me, and it felt like home away from home," Black said.

Mia DeRosa | Rochester, N.Y. | Attack
Bona welcomes Mia DeRosa out of Victor Senior High, where she helped bring the program two state championships. She is also a scholar-athlete award winner and member of the Monster Elite club team. A member of the National Honor Society, she plans on majoring in business. DeRosa, who also played soccer, comes from an athletically gifted family. Her father played football collegiately at Cortland, her sister played lacrosse at Villanova and her uncle was a basketball player at John Carroll.

"I chose St. Bonaventure because it offers the perfect balance of strong academics, a close-knit community and the opportunity for me to compete in high-level Division I lacrosse. From the moment I visited campus, I felt such a strong sense of family and support from everyone I met. I truly could not be more excited to be a part of a program and university that values hard work, dedication and team culture," DeRosa said.

Revlie Genier | Rochester, N.Y. | Attack
Revlie Genier joins St. Bonaventure on attack from Irondequoit High. A National Honor Society and high honor roll student, she intends to major in biology at SBU.
"I chose St. Bonaventure because I loved the community and culture. Everyone was super welcoming and I felt at home," Genier said.

Angela Gerstner | Pittsford, N.Y | Defense
The Bonnies welcome defender Angela Gerstner out of Our Lady of Mercy, where she helped her team win two Section V championships. She also helped bring her squad to a state semifinal appearance. A member of the Monster Elite club team and an honor roll student, Gerstner intends to major in business.
"I chose St. Bonaventure for the strong sense of community that I felt immediately after stepping on campus," Gerstner said.

Molly Meyer | Webster, N.Y. | Defense
Molly Meyer joins the Bonnies out of Webster Schroeder High, where she was named a First Team All-League selection. She compiled over 50 groundballs to go along with 25 caused turnovers and 65 draw controls. Meyer also scored over 50 goals, an impressive mark for a primary defender. A member of the Monster Elite club team, her father played collegiate lacrosse at Geneseo. She intends to major in health sciences and also competed in ice and field hockey in high school.
"I loved the community and culture at St. Bonaventure, and I wanted to play on a competitive team that is always working hard while building lifelong friendships,"Â Meyer said.

Talia Olshansky | Marietta, Ga. | Midfield
Talia Olshansky joins the Brown and White out of Pope High. A Second Team All-State selection, she is also a six-time scholar athlete award winner. A musician on the oboe and English horn as well as a member of the MFL Black club team, Olshansky plans to major in biology.
"I chose St. Bonaventure because it gives me an opportunity to play Division I lacrosse and to grow as a person. The university also fulfills all my needs to further my education in medicine," Olshansky said.Â

Ava Rouse | Orilla, Ontario | Defender
The Bonnies welcome Ava Rouse from Patrick Fogarty Catholic, where she was an honor roll student and team MVP. A former member of Team Ontario and the Canadian National Development Team, Rouse has won championships at the regional, provincial, and national level in both field and box lacrosse. She was a member of the Orilla Lady Kings, Toronto Rockstars, and Empress Blue club teams. Also a team MVP in volleyball, Rouse plans to major in psychology at St. Bonaventure.
"I chose St. Bonaventure because it felt like home. The small community and friendly people drew me in, and it has the right balance of athletics and academics that I was looking for," Rouse said.

Morgan Wilson | Pittsford, N.Y. | Midfield
Morgan Wilson joins SBU out of Pittsford-Mendon High where she made a name for herself in the midfield. She was also a member of the Monster Elite club team. Her father played football and lacrosse at Dickinson. Wilson has not yet decided upon a major.
"The atmosphere when I stepped on campus to meet the girls and Coach Stauffer drew me in to St. Bonaventure immediately. The location, the high level of lacrosse and the ability to get a good education were huge factors," Wilson said.
