Five Men’s Soccer Student-Athletes Garner CSC Academic All-District Accolades

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five St. Bonaventure University men's soccer student-athletes have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, officials announced Tuesday.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. They are nominated by the nation's sports information directors.

Graduate students Seth Hammond, Ricardo Ritterberger Galan, Gabriel Addo, junior Callum Shillington and sophomore Yaseen Khaled have all been recognized for their effort on the field and in the classroom.

Hammond carries a 3.73 cumulative GPA and is working toward his master's degree in general business.

He had a season to remember for the Bonnies, tallying 21 points on seven goals and seven assists. Hammond registered four assists against nationally ranked George Mason, setting a new program record.

Following the season, Hammond was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team as well as the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team.

Rittersberger Galan has a 3.74 cumulative GPA while working toward a master's degree in sports administration. He was a two-time CSC Academic All-American selection during his time at Aquinas.

He started all 15 games in his lone season with the Bonnies, ranking third on the team with seven points on two goals and three assists.

Addo carries a 3.66 GPA and is working toward a master's degree in professional accountancy.

He is a two-year member of the Bonnies men's soccer team, playing in 28 games during his career. Addo appeared in 14 games this season and made nine starts in the midfield with a goal.

Shillington is a health science major, carrying a 3.72 cumulative GPA and was a member of the 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team.

He started all 15 games this season, tallying a goal and two assists for four points from his defensive midfield position.

Khaled carries a 3.87 cumulative GPA as an international studies major.

He appeared in all 15 games this season, making one start on defense while tallying an assist.
