LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies dropped their second one-goal game of the season to Niagara last Friday. The Brown and White found themselves down 5-1 before scoring three in a row to cut the deficit to one. Niagara responded with a goal to make it 6-4, but the Bonnies added another off the stick of Brooke Piper to again go down by one. A last second shot from Tori Nascimento was thwarted by the Niagara keeper to give the Purple Eagles their ninth consecutive win over the Bonnies.

A-10 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bonnies goalie Katelyn Hicks was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week following an outstanding two-game performance against Canisius and Niagara. Hicks made 21 saves in the two-game span and recorded a .636 save percentage. The sophomore helped the Bonnies to an 18-6 win over the Golden Griffins with 12 saves. She was also stellar in a 6-5 setback against Niagara, making nine saves.

STUFFING THE STAT SHEET
Two Bonnies players have recorded games with seven points this season. Senior Fiona McGovern recorded seven in the season-opener against Pitt with three goals and four assists. That was the third game of McGovern's career with seven or more points. Junior Rylee Gonzalez recorded her first game with seven points of her career against Canisius. Gonzalez tallied two goals and five assists in the 18-6 victory.

LEADING THE DRAW
Megan Schillinger ranks 14th in Division I in draw controls per game to start the season. The junior is averaging 8.67 draw controls per contest. Schillinger set the Bona single-game record earlier this season vs Canisius with 12.

SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies are 1-1 all-time against the Penguins, meeting in 2022 and 2024. In 2022, the Penguins were victorious at home, 18-7, and last season the Bonnies took a 19-7 victory at the Marra Athletics Complex.
