FIRST PITCH
St. Bonaventure looks to carry momentum from Sunday's win over George Mason into their upcoming series at Saint Louis. After dropping their first five games in conference play, Bonaventure decidedly took the final game of the series against the Patriots, 7-3.
Chance Moore led the Bonnies from the mound, throwing six scoreless innings before
Luke Roggenburk came in to close out the win. On offense, Connor Vercollone and
Chris Hoalcraft helped the Bonnies' cause with multi-hit performances.

SCHEDULE CHANGES
Due to rain in the forecast for Sunday in Missouri, the teams are set to play a doubleheader Friday beginning at 4 p.m. Eastern (3 p.m. Central) with the series finale on Saturday at 3 p.m. Eastern (2 p.m. Central).

Chance Moore has shined in conference starts so far. Moore is pitching to a 4.00 ERA in conference play, with a shutout in his most recent outing.

Connor Vercollone leads the Bonnies this season with multiple RBIs in seven games this season.
Harrison Kaufman and
Jayce Tharnish are close behind, with five such games each.

BATTLING INJURIES
Jayce Tharnish and
Mike Gunning have been key members of the Bonnies' offense so far this season. However, both players were unable to make a start in last weekend's matchup vs. George Mason as the Bonnies played without their regular leadoff man and cleanup hitter. The Bonnies have also been without the services of top starter
Michael Salina due to injury.

ABOUT SAINT LOUIS
- The Billikens are 13-11 on the season, with a 4-2 conference record. Saint Louis is hitting .250 as a team and an ERA of 6.49
- Last season, Saint Louis finished 37-16 and ranked first in the Atlantic 10 with a 16-8 conference record. The Billikens were eliminated from the conference tournament after losing their first two games.
- The Bonnies' last series against the Billikens came in 2023, where Saint Louis took two of three from Bonaventure.
- Saint Louis was picked to finish third in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Coaches Poll, though they received the most first-place votes (five) out of all teams.
- The Billikens' Friday starter is Owen Kelly. In six starts this season, Kelly has a 5-1 record with a 5.59 ERA through 29.1 innings.
