FIRST PITCH
St. Bonaventure will look to get back on track after dropping a series to Saint Louis. The Bonnies have posted a 2-2 record in their last four contests. Most recently, the Bonnies fell 7-3 to the Billikens on Saturday after splitting a doubleheader Friday night. The Bonnies tallied eight hits and recorded the last three runs of the game.
HOME & HOME
This will be the second and final game of the season between the two programs. Binghamton outlasted the Bonnies 7-6 on March 11. The Bearcats won off a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth. Bona's scored three in the ninth to tie the game before the Bearcats walked it off in the home half. David Marshall Jr. posted two hits and two RBIs with Mike Gunning and Gavin Constantine also recording two hits apiece. Freshman Jaxon Ross made his first career collegiate start and worked three innings of three-run ball.
OPENING PITCH
On the opening pitch of the March 11 contest, center fielder Jayce Tharnish went deep to give the Bonnies an early 1-0 lead.
GOOD EYE
Conner Vercollone leads Bonaventure in walks drawn (16). Harrison Kaufman has also shown off his discipline at the plate with 13 walks drawn.
