ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure baseball team has earned distinction from the American Baseball Coaches Association by receiving the organization's Team Academic Excellence Award.

St. Bonaventure baseball achieved a cumulative team GPA of 3.41 through the completion of the spring semester. A total of 36 Bonnies baseball student-athletes own cumulative GPAs of better than 3.0 while an impressive 28 members of the team posted a cumulative GPA of better than 3.5.

This award recognizes ABCA member teams from all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year.

The program has earned the recognition now in three of the past four seasons.
