WASHINGTON, D.C. – St. Bonaventure University men's soccer junior goalkeeper Winston Jory has been selected as the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, officials announced Monday.

A native of Brisbane, Australia, Jory earns his second A10 Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season after helping the Bonnies to a 1-0 shutout victory on the road at Saint Joseph's last Saturday.

Jory finished the contest with five saves while registering his fourth shutout of the season.

His biggest save of the contest came in the 81^st minute when the Hawks had a one-on-one opportunity in front of the net. Jory came off his line to make a sliding save, preserving the shutout as Saint Joseph's did not threaten to score again.

On the year, Jory is tied for the A10 lead in shutouts while ranking second in save percentage (.816), third in saves per game (4.0), fourth in goals-against average (0.900) and fifth in total saves (40).

The Bonnies are back in action Saturday, Oct. 17, when they travel to take on Loyola Chicago.
