ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – When the St. Bonaventure University softball team kicks off the 2026 campaign Friday evening in the Lonestar State, it will be under the direction of first-year head coach Camden Decker.
Decker joined the Bonnies in July 2025 after spending the previous three seasons at Troy University, helping the Trojans to 30 or more wins in each of those three seasons.
Helping to lead the new era of Bonnies softball are a pair of Atlantic 10 All-Conference selections in Kendall Stull and Kymora Wang.
Stull and Wang were selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team following the 2025 season. Stull slashed .331/.384/.459 to go along with 44 hits, 30 RBI, 17 runs, 11 doubles and two home runs. She was also effective in the circle for the Brown and White, registering six saves in 48.1 innings of work.
Not to be outdone, Wang slashed .348/.427/.576 in 2025 for the Bonnies with a 1.003 on-base plus slugging percentage. She tallied 46 hits, 30 RBI, 23 runs, 13 doubles, four triples and three home runs.
In the circle, Mackenzie Frani picked up a team-high five wins in her first collegiate season, tossing 96.2 innings and striking out 60 batters across 25 appearances. Ava Lomelin was second on the team with four wins, making 23 appearances and striking out 22 batters in 64.1 innings.
Reanna Perkins returns as the lone senior on the 2026 roster but was limited to just six games last season due to injury.
Also returning for the Bonnies are juniors Sydney DeGram (39 starts), Kelsey Brady (18 games played), Kaylee Grace (seven appearances in 2024), Eleanor Park (33 starts) and Kylie Bickert (17 appearances) as well as sophomores Lauren Dundon (30 games played), Jayden Szkatulski (one appearance), Sawyer Burke (24 games played), Abigail Ahern (45 starts) and Nolah Moyer (43 starts).
Coach Decker welcomes six freshmen to the roster in 2026 in Colsten Beers (Binghamton, N.Y.), Ella Amato (Baldwinsville, N.Y.), Annabel Burke (Johnson City, N.Y.), Kendall Musch (Camden, N.Y.), Grace Miller (Gahanna, Ohio) and Colleen Schrems (Northville, Mich.).
The Bonnies begin the 2026 season with five trips with the first at East Texas A&M Feb. 6-8. They will then travel to UNC Wilmington (Feb. 13-15), East Carolina (Feb. 20-22), Texas (Feb. 27-March 1) and Purdue (March 6-8).
