OPENING DRAW
The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team is set to host VCU this Saturday at noon for Senior Day, returning to Atlantic 10 competition after this past Wednesday's meeting at Cornell. The Bonnies' eight graduating seniors in the Class of 2026 will be honored pregame: Megan Schillinger, Rylee Gonzalez, Payton Klepacki, Emma Hollenbeck, Grace Hollenbeck, Kate Hennessey, Brooke Piper and Brit Colangelo.

SENIOR CLASS
#14  |  Megan Schillinger  |  M
A four-year member of the program, Schillinger has appeared in 62 games throughout her career, making 45 starts. The 2025 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team honoree shattered the Bonnies' single-season draw controls record last year, tallying 143 on the season which was good for second in the conference. She also owns the program's career draw controls record with 272, which ranks 15th nationally among all active Division I players and first among A-10 competitors. A 2025 Academic All-District selection and three-time A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll student, the accounting major has recorded 45 goals and 15 assists across her career for 60 total points. This season, she leads the team with 51 draw controls, having appeared in every contest so far.

#17  |  Rylee Gonzalez  |  A
A three-year member of the program who transferred from Gardner-Webb after her freshman season, Gonzalez has appeared in 44 total games for the Bonnies, making 40 starts. For her college career, she has registered 108 total points. She is also a two-time selection to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. The physical education major has started in all nine contests so far this season and sits second on the team with 24 points after recording hat tricks in three games.

#21  |  Payton Klepacki  |  D
Klepacki is a four-year member of the Bonnies Lacrosse program. She was a 2023 A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll selection. As a junior in 2025, the health science major appeared in four games, registering a ground ball and a caused turnover against La Salle.

#22  |  Emma Hollenbeck  |  A
Hollenbeck is a four-year member of the Bonnies who has played in 10 games throughout her career. She is a three-time A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll student. As a sophomore in 2024, she appeared in two games and scored her first career goal against Youngstown State. As a junior in 2025, the accounting major saw action in three games and found the back of the net against La Salle.

#39  |  Grace Hollenbeck  |  A
Hollenbeck has never missed a game in her four years as a Bonnie, appearing in 62 contests so far including 20 starts. A two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, she is currently tied for 14th place in program history with 35 career assists and owns 99 career points for the Bonnies. The three-time A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll member has totaled 64 goals and 54 groundballs in her career.

#44  |  Kate Hennessey  |  D
A fourth-year member of the program, Hennessey has appeared in 57 games including 49 starts across her career. She was named one of three senior captains prior to this season. A two-time A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll student, she has totaled 51 groundballs and 27 caused turnovers during her career. This season, the marketing major has registered nine groundballs and five caused turnovers while starting in every game.

#45  |  Brooke Piper  |  M
Piper is in her fourth season with the Bonnies and has started in every contest throughout that time with a career total of 62 games played.  She is one of three seniors serving as a captain this season. She ranks second in program history with 151 career goals, which also ranks 11th nationally among all active Division I players and first in the A-10. She is also the program runner-up in career draw controls with 233, good for 21st among active Division I players. The captain's 180 career points are the seventh-most in program history.  Last season, Piper was named to the A-10 All-Conference First Team as well as the All-Academic Team while also being recognized as a member the IWLCA All-Region Teams. This season, she leads the team with 32 points and sits second with 37 draw controls. A psychology major, Brooke is a three-time A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll member and two-time Academic All-District selection.

#51  |  Brit Colangelo  |  D
Colangelo is a four-year member of the program who has started in every contest throughout her career. The third Bonnies captain this season, she enters today with 116 career caused turnovers to rank third in program history as well as third nationally among all active Division I players. Her 154 career groundballs are the seventh-most in St. Bonaventure history and fourth-most among active Division I competitors. Colangelo has been a steady force in the conference since her freshman season when she was named to the A-10 All-Rookie Team, which she followed up with back-to-back All-Conference First Team selections in her sophomore and junior seasons. This season, she leads the A-10 with 23 caused turnovers. A sports studies major, she is a three-time A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll student.

ABOUT VCU
  • The Rams are coached by Nicole Flores in her fifth season at the helm of the program. Last season, she brought the team to a five seed in the A-10 Tournament.
  • VCU opened conference play this past Saturday against Richmond, falling 16-5 to the A-10 preseason favorite.
  • Junior attacker Rachel Koeneke paces the team with 28 points (16G-12A).
  • As a team, the Rams rank second in the conference in average points (20), caused turnovers (12.14) and assists (7.14) per game. They have also committed the most yellow cards (11) and second-most turnovers (27) in the conference to this point.

SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies hold a 3-5 all-time record against VCU and won the most recent meeting by a score of 18-9 in 2025.
