The GoBonnies.com Student-Athletes of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending March 29 are softball junior Kendall Stull and men's lacrosse redshirt junior Owen Tasse.
Stull pitched 13.0 innings while allowing just two earned runs for a 1.08 ERA and striking out four in three appearances in the circle for the Bonnies last week. Stull allowed just one hit over 2.1 innings of work, earning the win against Youngstown State Tuesday afternoon. In Sunday's win over Loyola Chicago, Stull allowed just three hits and struck out a pair in the complete game win.
Tasse set a new school single-season record for caused turnovers with another strong defensive day for the Bonnies this past Saturday vs. UMass.
In Saturday's game, he recorded five caused turnovers and five groundballs in a 9-7 decision. It was his third game of five or more caused turnovers in a game this year and he now has 27 for the season, surpassing the old program record of 24 posted by Nick Conklin in 2019.
For the season, Tasse leads the Atlantic 10 and ranks third nationally in caused turnovers, behind only Julian Radossich of Fairfield and Owen Tapper of Robert Morris.
