The GoBonnies.com Student-Athletes of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending April 5 are baseball senior David James and women's tennis senior Tamara Bachmann.

James was selected as the Atlantic 10 Baseball Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete game shutout in a win vs. George Washington last Thursday.

He scattered five singles across his nine innings while walking only one and striking out six.

The London, Ontario native has been one of the A-10's top pitchers all spring. With Thursday's win, he now has a 2.47 ERA over his eight starts with 44 strikeouts in 43.2 innings. Opposing batters are hitting just .211 against him for the year. James ranks third among all qualifying Atlantic 10 pitchers in season ERA and fourth in hits allowed per nine innings (7.01).

Bachmann won in singles and doubles, helping the Bonnies to a 5-2 win over Duquesne Saturday afternoon. Bachmann and partner Sara Montano Parada helped secure the doubles point with a 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles. In singles action, Bachmann scored a straight set win over Alexandra O'Brian at No. 2 singles.
