KICKING OFF
The St. Bonaventure women's soccer team will play back-to-back matches on the road this week for the first time in 2026. The Bonnies are set to continue Atlantic 10 play Thursday at 1:00 p.m. against VCU and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. against Richmond.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Bona dropped its first conference match this past Saturday as visiting Dayton, the defending A10 champions, came away with a 5-0 victory. Freshman goalkeeper Callie Turpin saved a career-high 12 shots in a full 90-minute performance.
 
CONSTANT PRESENCE
Freshman Liana Tata, who sits tied for the team lead with four points, has started and played full-time in every contest so far this season, pacing the Bonnies with 720 minutes played. Next up is classmate Moran Moscovici (705) and sophomore Addison Brown (696).
 
SCOUTING VCU

• The Rams are led by head coach Lauryn Hutchinson. A 2013 alumna of the program, she is in her inaugural season as head coach.
• VCU has been held winless this season, though the team escaped with ties against UNCW (1-1), William & Mary (2-2) and East Carolina (2-2). Most recently, the Rams fell to RV Saint Louis, 7-1, to open A10 play.
• Sophomore forward Isabelle Franklin leads the team with six points (2G-2A) while redshirt junior Cameryn Nunn leads the team in goalkeeper minutes, starting in seven contests and making 34 saves in that time.

 
SCOUTING RICHMOND

• The Spiders are led by head coach Adam Denton in his fourth season with the program. Last season, he helped bring the team to a 4-7-7 overall record.
• Richmond has yet to lose a contest this season, sitting at 5-0-4 with wins over Wofford (1-0), Queens (3-0), Radford (2-1), VMI (1-0) and Howard (4-1).
• The Spiders opened conference play last week against George Washington with a 1-1 tie and will face Duquesne at home on Thursday evening before hosting the Bonnies.
• Sophomore defender Morganne Zinn paces the team with 11 points (4G-3A) after starting in every contest to this point.
• Junior goalkeeper Veronica Rrapi has started all nine of the Spiders' matches in net, making 19 saves for a save percentage of 86.4 percent.

 
SERIES HISTORY
Against the Rams, the Bonnies are 2-7-1 all-time with the programs' most recent contest ending in favor of visiting VCU, 1-0, during the 2025 season. Opposite Richmond, SBU holds a 7-13-2 overall record. The Spiders came out on top in last season's meeting at home, 2-1.
