Oct. 26, 2003

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure allowed a 1-0 lead disappear in the final minute of action and fell to Massachusetts, 2-1, in overtime Sunday afternoon at McGraw-Jennings Field.

With just over one minute remaining in regulation, Bonnies freshman midfielder Kevin Omokhua fouled a Massachusetts player, allowing the Minutemen a free kick. During a scramble in the box, Bullen blasted a shot past St. Bonaventure junior keeper Sean Eyde to tie the game at 1-1 with 52 seconds left.

Bullen then recorded the game-winning goal 1:39 into the overtime session when he took a pass from teammate Dan Colwell, worked through a pack of defenders in the box, and beat Eyde.

The Bonnies got on the board first in the 71st minute. Junior defender Misael Pedraza kicked the ball over a defender and found Omokhua on the right side of the net. Omokhua blasted the ball past UMass goalkeeper Colin Burns.

The Minutemen outshot the Bonnies 12-5 and had six corner kicks to St. Bonaventure's two. Eyde recorded three saves on the day. The loss dropped his record to 2-9 on the season.
