The St. Bonaventure baseball team completed its regular season schedule Tuesday afternoon, falling 11-3 at Binghamton.
The Bonnies jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first as senior Matt Landahl (Alden, N.Y./Alden) hit a solo home run.
Unfortunately for St. Bonaventure, Binghamton rallied with four runs in the bottom of the first and added seven more over the next four innings to grab an 11-1 lead heading into the sixth.
Landahl and freshman outfielder Brian Pellegrini added RBIs in the top of the ninth, but it wasn't enough as Binghamton held on for the 11-3 win.
Junior Mike McCormack fell to 3-4 on the season, going two innings for the Bonnies. He allowed six runs on five hits with one strike out.
Junior second baseman Craig King was the lone Bona player to have more than one hit, going 2-for-4.
The Bonnies, who went 25-20 during the regular season and finished their Atlantic 10 schedule at 14-7, will complete in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament May 26-30 at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Conn.
