Bonnies Hit The Road To Take On Marshall

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – After completing a doubleheader sweep of Little Three rival Niagara on Tuesday, St. Bonaventure will hit the road for a three-game series beginning Friday at 3 p.m. with the Marshall Thundering Herd.

Game two of the series has been moved from a 2 p.m. start on Saturday to a 6:15 p.m. first pitch. The rubber game of the series is still set for Noon on Sunday.

All three games of the series will be played at Epling Stadium in Beckley, W. Va. More information on the stadium location and series info can be found here.

After starting the season with a 3-1 record, the Thundering Herd have dropped nine of their last 12 decisions to drop their record to 6-10 on the season.

At the plate, Marshall is led by senior infielder Victor Ramos who is batting .339 with eight extra-base hits and 10 RBI.

The Bonnies will throw redshirt junior Cael Johnson in game one, followed by lefties Nick Brennen in game two and Eddie Gray in the final game of the series on Sunday.

SBU will return home Tuesday, March 22 for a doubleheader matchup with Big 4 rival Buffalo beginning at 2 p.m.
