AKRON, Ohio – The St. Bonaventure women's swimming team returned to the pool Saturday Dec. 1 to attend the Zippy Invitational hosted by The University of Akron at Ocasek Natatorium.
Elizabeth Malone had a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 56.53.
Teammate, Lauren Caldwell came in 13th place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 58.04.
Freshman Adelyn Graf came in ninth-place in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:29.19. Graf also finished in sixth-place with a time of 57.28 in the 100-yard back.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Rachel Bull touched in at 1:54.08, good for a 10th place finish.
McKenzie Courtney finished with a time 1:06.08 in the 100-yard breast and took 11th place.
In relay action, in the 200-yard medley relay a team of Adelyn Graf, McKenzie Courtney, Elizabeth Malone and Sierra Wilkinson came in at 1:47.64, good for a ninth-place finish.
In the 800-yard freestyle relay, an 11th place finish was clinched by a team of Caldwell, Malone, Erica Pascarella and Taylor Anderson with a time of 7:55.99.
After day two of the Invite the Bonnies are now in seventh-place with a score of 458. They return to the pool Sunday Dec. 2 with prelims at 9 a.m. and finals at 4 p.m.
