GENEVA, OHIO - The St. Bonaventure women's swimming and diving team moved to ninth place in the second day of competition at the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championships held at the Spire Institute Thursday night.
The Brown and White with 78 points hold a 2-point lead over Saint Louis (76) with Richmond topping the women's board with 298 points. Massachusetts is in second place with 216 with Fordham University coming in third with 183.5 points. Rounding out the women's scoring is LaSalle (176), George Washington (99), Duquesne (86.5), Xavier (85), Rhode Island (84), Saint Louis (76) and Butler (42).
In the 500-yard freestyle, Shannon Haberman touched in at 4:57.54. Rachel Bull finished in 16th place with a time of 5:03.75.
In the 200-yard IM, sophomore Lauren Caldwell finished in 13th-place with a time of 2:06.66.
In the 50-yard freestyle, junior Jeanette Dietrich finished 7th with a time of 23.81.
The Brown and White will begin its third day of competition at the A-10 Championships beginning at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow with the prelims followed by the finals at 6:30 p.m.
