St. Bonaventure's men's cross country team finished in eighth place out of nine teams in the University of Albany Invitational on Saturday.

Middlebury won the team title with a score of 44 followed by Albany (48), RPI (64), Siena (95), Manhattan (141), Colgate (156), Plattsburgh (209), St. Bonaventure (221) and Nyack (282).

Senior Harley Thompson finished 30^th to lead the Bonnies. Thompson's time was 26:38. Classmate Joe Ferencik ended 45^th in 27:23 followed by senior Nick Masiello in 46^th in a time of 27:25.

Freshman Ben Collins placed 49^th in 28:10 while junior Nick Konotopsky was 51^st in 28:42.

Non-scorers for the Bonnies were senior Steve Kibbe, who ended 55^th in 29:39 and freshman Justin Ryan, who was 56^th in 29:54.

Next Up: The Bonnies' next race will be the Atlantic 10 Championship on Nov. 1 in Pittsburgh.
