STORYLINE
The St. Bonaventure University softball team will take on the Rhode Island Rams for a three-game conference series. The weekend set will serve as the Bonnies' final road action of the 2017 season.

ABOUT THE BONNIES (11-33, 1-13)

• The St. Bonaventure University softball team is coming off an 8-2 win at Canisius on Wednesday. Desiree Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with a home run and three runs scored, and Alexandra Piergustavo worked three hits as well with an RBI.
• Gonzalez leads the Bonnies with a .294 batting average and now has six homers, tied for the team best. Her 37 hits are also team leading.
• As the Bona run producer, Piergustavo leads the team with 28 RBIs and six homers. Her 35 hits are two shy of the team lead.
• Kelly Farrell, Kiera Lorenzo and Alissa Karjel have 10 RBIs apiece this year.
• Josie Borysevicz went all seven innings and struck out a career-best eight hitters. She leads the team with 109 innings in the circle with six wins in 19 starts.
    

RHODE ISLAND (8-30, 5-12)

• The Rams took two of three games vs. Dayton and swept Saint Louis in a three-game set. 
• Kylie Shivery is the leader for the Rams at the plate. Shivery leads the team in batting average (.342), hits (39), home runs (five), RBIs (22) and is tied for first on the team with 16 runs scored. 
• Erika Yeager ranks second on the team with a .286 batting average and 30 hits while Caileigh Holland is third on the team with 29 hits.
• Jenna Cuebello is tied for first on the team with 16 runs scored and has 27 hits.
• Sarah Gunderson is the ace for the Rams. Gunderson is 3-12 with a 5.29 ERA while tossing 92.2 innings, striking out 32 batters, only issuing 22 walks and has given up 120 hits. Becca Rogers is the No. 2 pitcher for Rhode Island. Lewis is 2-12 with a 7.91 ERA while throwing 56.2 innings. Rogers has struck out 52 batters, issued 46 walks and has given up 95 hits. Rhode Island's ERA as a team is 7.32.
